The Slayer by Evangelista (Carla Bozulich)[link]

This is the speed
I fly
I'm all alone
and that you know
The Angels walk below me
Sliving metal by remote control
Wings are sending black smoke to cover
Up my Eyes like a sympathetic strangle

But I will never die.
Am I here to watch over you
Am I here to destroy you
Am I here just to think it matters what I do
I can never really be
Yet I don't mind if I do.
Take the pennies from my eyes
I am so old that I am new

I'm an indifferent slayer
For sure you should try prayer
That'll keep you occupied
While I do what I decide
I can never really be
Yet I don't mind if I do
Take the pennies from my eyes
Let me kiss the friends I knew

Watch the burning embers
Hands are in the holes
and still they love each others
I can't remember anything
I can never really be
Yet I don't mind if I do.

There was a little soldier
Hung up in her own mind
See her body flying over
To look for her own kind.
A child dreaming darkly
Of days when there was something
More than earth and stars
More than these cheap guitars

Am I here to watch over you
Am I here to destroy you
Am I here just to think
it matters what I do.
I can never really be
Yet I don't mind if I do.
Take the Pennies from my eyes
let me kiss the friends I knew

A Visit

Gone are the days
when you could walk on water.
When you could walk.

The days are gone.
Only one day remains,
the one you're in.

The memory is no friend.
It can only tell you
what you no longer have:

a left hand you can use,
two feet that walk.
All the brain's gadgets.

Hello, hello.
The one hand that still works
grips, won't let go.

That is not a train.
There is no cricket.
Let's not panic.

Let's talk about axes,
which kinds are good,
the many names of wood.

This is how to build
a house, a boat, a tent.
No use; the toolbox

refuses to reveal its verbs;
the rasp, the plane, the awl,
revert to sullen metal.

Do you recognize anything? I said.
Anything familiar?
Yes, you said. The bed.

Better to watch the stream
that flows across the floor
and is made of sunlight,

the forest made of shadows;
better to watch the fireplace
which is now a beach.

Autumn Day Rainer Maria Rilke [link]

Lord: it is time. The summer was immense.
Lay your shadow on the sundials
and let loose the wind in the fields.

Bid the last fruits to be full;
give them another two more southerly days,
press them to ripeness, and chase
the last sweetness into the heavy wine.

Whoever has no house now will not build one
anymore.
Whoever is alone now will remain so for a long
time,
will stay up, read, write long letters,
and wander the avenues, up and down,
restlessly, while the leaves are blowing.

Herbsttag
Rainer Maria Rilke [link]

Herr: es ist Zeit. Der Sommer war sehr groß.
Leg deinen Schatten auf die Sonnenuhren,
und auf den Fluren laß die Winde los.

Befiehl den letzten Früchten voll zu sein;

please enjoy the words of my favourite band and the wonderful artwork of D.A.-artists

Horses in the sky

Oh my broken lamb
I worry when you cry
Baby's gonna fetch ya
Horses in the sky

Though dead hands ring the garden
And these are violent times
And violence brings more violence
And liars bring more lies

Though we was born defeated
Worried, tired and scared
And monsters build mean robots
Launching rockets into the air

And the wealth of our nations
Fed on angel blood
And our cities shot with moneyed schemes
Built on twigs and mud

And our schools look like prisons
And our prisons look like malls
And downtown's just a sick parade
Where no-one cares at all

And our hero's all died crazy
Broken, poor or shot
Let's celebrate their tragedy
And sanctify the loss

And manifest the daydream
Like those who fell before
And glorify our small attempts
And hate ourselves no more

Blow words between these sucker's teeth
And bind these panicked hands
Lose your heart like a clumsy bell
Please be well

but

And all i true love
Is the light
In my sister's darling eyes
