Why disable so many comments... that always sort of give the impression you have something to hide. Very negative.

I do understand that answering comments or faves is very demanding. I've read a few days ago the "warning" from an artist who was saying to all his followers, etc... that he wouldn't respond to comments or faves because the stress of having to write to just say,"thank you" was very intense and was killing him>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>. He wrote that in his profile, so it would remain there and everybody would understand (at least would know) his reasons.
That might be a good solution...
BUT... it should be written in English, or in both German & English, because please don't forget that although this is an international site in principle, the common language is English, otherwise people are going to write in Turk, in Swahili, in Ancient Arabic, etc... The site is basically an American site, although lots of members and visitors are from all over the world. That's why it's important to keep the English language as THE language used on the site>>>>>>>.> So, I think that what you write in German should be translated (by you) in English, like one paragraph in German and one with the translation in English.
Like, what you say about yourself in your profile must be most interesting, but I can't understand it.
I had the same problem with Augenweide, in photography, who created a German group all in German (can't remember the name of that group, sorry)...I sent him a note, but he never responded. If he wants to open a photography group all in the German language, why doesn't he open one in Germany ?? Of course, the American public is so much larger...success is in America, not in Germany or Belgium!!
Sorry about my ramblings... I forgot to say that I love your art and think very highly of you !!

thanks for your thoughts... you are right and I'm sometimes a little bit lazy... and afraid to write rubbish in English  if there was someone who could tell all those not-English people where they made mistakes... would make it much easier :D

Anyway, thanks for your kind responses to my remarks. You must be a very kind and gentle person !

Hello scheinbar !

You sound so nice ! I regret that I don't speak German, but in secondary school, 3 foreign languages were mandatory: English and Dutch; for the 3rd. one, we could choose between German and Spanish. I chose Spanish, but I don't speak it fluently, if I go to Spain, I speak English !
I like Germany very much, there was a time when I went often to Aachen and Köln for the week-end, and I had a good friend in Lindau, on lake Constance.
I like Munich and Bavaria... the way of life in Germany is much more pleasant than in belgium, except for Brussels, which is very international.
Take care now !
