this is one of the best pictures i have seen on here, it instantly grabs you and makes you think, then it pulls you in again and again.
without the name of the piece another question would have to asked of the viewer.
I feel this piece would not have worked in colour.
the exquisite light difference between the hand and its reflection is very good.
the capture of the mirror image as the primary focus also draws us into the illusion.
this piece has a background - the story of which i cannot decipher (i guess thats the point) so i am drawn back to the touch
